I'm having trouble with the exploding barrels tut, when the barrel explodes i get no sound

this is my .csv file, it's in the soundaliases folder

barrel_explosion,,explosions/exp_armoredcar.wav,0.8,1,,,,50,1000,local,streamed,,,,mp_industrial,,,,,,,,
barrel_explosion_imminent,,misc/metal_stress01.wav,0.6,1,,,,50,500,local,streamed,,,,mp_industrial,,,,,,,,
barrel_fire,,fire/Fire_Sm_loop01.wav,0.01,1,,,,50,400,auto,streamed,,,,mp_industrial,,,,,,,,

check if you use the same aliases in your script, no spelling errors etc. and i don't have that many comma's after mp_mymapname. maybe it works when you remove them or put mp_mymapname on the end.

i.e. :

p51_mustang_flyby,1,vehicles/mrk_plane_flyby_spitfire4.wav,1,1,na,,,15,50000,auto,streamed,,,,mp_salerno_beachhead

hey dude !! hold your horses m8.
You need to have a little patience.
I personally can't help you with this. But some people have a life and need to work to earn a living. I'm sure someone will help you if they can ok? In the mean time search the forum and look for the answer there until you get an reply.

m8 u should have in your *.csv file like this:


name,sequence,file,vol_min,vol_max,vol_mod,pitch_min,pitch_max,dist_min,dist_max,channel,type,probability,loop,masterslave,loadspec,subtitle,compression,secondaryaliasname,volumefalloffcurve,startdelay,speakermap,reverb,lfe percentage

barrel_explosion,,explosions/exp_armoredcar.wav,0.8,1,,,,50,1000,local,streamed,,,,mp_mapname,,,,,,,,
