My map wont start. I have looked over the forums and tried changing so many things but I cant get my map to work, here is my Error:

that's strange... a line with a # in front of it should be ignored..

how did you create your .csv file? Notepad? Wordpad? Excel?

caretkaer look at his .csv file again unless he just didn't post it he is missing the top line, i'm not at home so i can write it here, but if he still needs it i'll write it in later today when i get home

the top lines are not needed.. and the #Ambiance line should be ignored anyway.

In the .csv any line you begin with a # is ignored. Similar to using // or /* in a .gsc.

So this means '#Ambience' should be ignored. Though you seem to be getting an error saying that is is trying to find the values for it, almost as if the game is ignoring the #.

Are you sure you are updating your .csv? Are you creating a .iwd of running it from your maps/mp folder?

what? Update the CVS file, for what or when should i update it? its in my maps/mp folder but not in an iwd becase im only testing my map its not done..

You .csv should be in the soundalliases folder.

[confused] Im so confused, I have tried puting it in a sound allies folder but then I always get the error Could not find zombie.csv. please, what do you mean do I put the soundalies folder in my maps/mp/ ??? [confused]

the folder is should be in is called "soundaliases" not sound allies..

it should be located in your /main folder (as I described in the ambient tutorial).
