Here

I'm pretty sure this model should have a collmap becasue it's on other official maps but it just won't work for me.

And I wouldn't like to clip all around it either.... [ohwell]

Did you not read the link?
it says that if you set up the editor correctly cod will create collmaps. here is a link to setting up the editor.

Easy RSE...

while i agree that the error as shown suggests that the editor is not correctly set up, there are better ways to say it than to be rude

the compile log you are showing us doesnt have the errors that would typically be shown with missing clips, however i would still suggest checking that you have extracted the collmaps to their proper location for the compiler to find

I did not mean to be rude, but what i do with my models is just put a box around them. Why clip the legs of the cow when you could just clip the whole thing? Who would want to climb under a cow anyway.[lol]

All 245 MAP files and a few other different types there.

I got the editor set up to D:\Games\Call of Duty\

Any models I place (vehicles work like a dream) are walkable through.

Steven, did you make those flak models script_models by any chance?

If so then that's your answer, I have found that a lot of those models do have collmaps but the collmap is assigned for misc_model variations.

Easy way to fix it is to import(merge same layer) the collmap into your map, delete the new gun that shows up with the clips, then position the clips over your script_models.
