I know this might be a stupid question, but how do you use the scripting for CoD:UO radient. I am a noob and I could not find a tutorial that said anything about writing in the scripting. Could someone please help me out. [confused]

There are alot of scripting tutorials available.

All you need to remember is, a script is a seperate file and has nothing to do with Radiant.
Make a text file (in Notepad!) place your scripting in there and save it as [your mapname].gsc. Next place it in the same folder as your .bsp file (maps for SP, maps/mp for MP) and run your map. The script gets ran automatically.

yes but how can we find out what needs to be in the gsc file and in what order?

Simple... you have at least 15 stock maps that have all gametypes in them, so look at what they put in the scripts to make those maps work. [read]

ho do I understand what I am looking at in those gsc files?
I hope I am not being a pain on this subject,but I have been looking around and can't seem to find anything on understanding what the script lang is saying and why.I am trying to learn this from the ground up so I hope you understand I am new to this stuff and want to find the resources that can help me understand better what I am doing.you guys are a great help and your help has been outstanding. thanx

fireballz, there are alot of scripting tutorials on this site, both in the CoD and the UO tutorial section. Read them...

There is even a "basic .gsc file" tutorial in the CoD section.

CoD:UO Scriping:
I tried scripting in CoD:UO with a destroyed wall as seen in this. (The Use of Exploders: Tutorial by StrYdeR). It said at the bottom of the destroy walls section,

I put this in a Notebook file and saved as a .gsc file. I than complied. Do I have to add anything else after that because I loaded it up to test it but it said "Script complie error (See console for errors)" Do I have to download the complier? 'Cause I use Jdawgg's compiling style. Could someone help?

Does your .gsc file hold just that line or is it

main()
{
maps\mp\_load::main();
}

?
