I realized that it might be annoying typing in worldspawn settings so i found an easier way. Dont do worldspawn in radiant. Go ahead and make a map. Once your done find the .map and search for "// entity 0"

Once you find it paste this below it:

{
"diffusefraction" ".27"
"_color" "0.75 0.733333 0.407843"
"ambient" "0.05"
"sundiffusecolor" "0.588235 0.596078 0.713726"
"sundirection" "-35 110 0"
"suncolor" ".75 .55 .4"
"sunlight" "1.4"
"classname" "worldspawn"




Thats it, you just entered worldspawn values. Now save and your ready to go!

it is good, but the odds on corrupting your map in a text only environmaent is far greater than just entering you WS values correctly in your map

TIP - don't try to shortcut the mappping process as it will usually come back to bite you in the ass

I've tested it, works every time. NO Problem, u jsut need to know wher eto put it.[drink]

^Agreeing with Stryder here. The fastest and easiest way is never the safest way. Besides, typing in worldspawn values in the entity window totally makes you look like a pro-programmer.

I also agree with Stryder here, as you only need to type in the info once for each map (editing is easy). If you want to test prefabs, I suggest creating a basic map with its own worldspawn, a large area of ground, a skybox and a dm spawn, and just drop your new prefabs in each time. Saves compiling your whole map, and making worldspawns for each prefabs you want to test.

Bolt, relax.

and take it from me.. Stryder knew about your "trick" long before you figured it out... and he knows where to put it... He was merely pointing out that it's a very decent way of possibly screwing up your map.

And that it's not that hard to type the world spawn values in your editor, because you only have to do it once per map usually.

Also... your reaction to his first reply (with all the [banghead] and [read]'s and all.. was not a really nice reply to a mod with over 1000 times your post count.
