UPDATE:

Bunker Level layout and design is done. I won't be adding any more rooms to it. I have to get the elevator to work , add all the models and lights, and do the detail work now. Its lookin' pretty spiffy.

After this I will start a small above ground map like I intended to do in the first place. Been replaying Half-Life 2 and got the inspiration again for something outdoorsy.

Anyhow, I DO intend to finish this, which is why I cut back on the maps size a bit. Ideas got a bit out of hand....

I'll post more shots when I'm all textured and modeled and detailed in a week or so.

So I lied, here's another shot.

This is the first room of the bunker when you come off the elevator. There's a gap in the railing there where a ladder takes you to a neat little piece of eye candy.

You can also see the light fixture on the ceiling beam there. I decided to go super detailed and add those conduit models to ALL my light fixtures. I even added a switch there incase its possible to turn on and off lights with scripting.

They aren't really well sized, so I had make some " fuse boxes " with a grey texture to connect some of these pipes in some areas. Turned out to be a pretty cool look. I have them on walls and traveling down beams and it looks pretty cool [rocking]

This is a shot looking up to the first room, the screenshot in my previous post. Those 2 blocks are going to be some sort of 1940's era computer. Basically, just going to make my own texture.

I have a theme of pipes in my map so this is moving that theme along.

1/15/07 Update:

The map is totally sealed !

All MAJOR structural building like walls, floors, ceilings , ect.. are totally done !!

Now its detail stuff for the new areas I created. This is also looking really good for a DM level too.

Hopefully get some screenshots up later on of the new areas.

Slowly but surely its coming along.... Since I went back to school, again, my editing time is cut a hair.

100% on layout, 90% textured the map is.

I just need to go room to room and detail everything, add lights i didn't add yet and so on. Then, try this scripting stuff out :)

Who knows when it will be done, but it will be eventually [jumping]

Once I get the lighting done so you can see where everything is, I'll send you the unfinished level to take a look at if you want.. as long as you don't steal too much.. hehehehe [crazy]
