Nice map but has some spawn trubs. We has 27 players on our CTF server last night and half the Russians spawned under the map.

Yep ... we got some undermaps too. Came over to tell ya.

But... compared to UO version this one is far more Pro-ish. [thumbs_up]

The map is more balanced then it was in UO.

Looks smoother etc. etc. etc. etc. GJ.

Will keep an eye on the update for running it on our server. [rocking]

oh wow, are you serious!? You guys spawned under the map? That's completely taking me by surprise. I havent had that at all. I'm going to go through this thing again and use a different beta team haha. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

checking up again...when you said half, do you MEAN half? I found one lonely little CTF spawn on the bottom of my skybox, but thats it, there shouldnt be any other spawn points below the map.

That point must be it for us..

We played CTF and it were Russians crying for help on how to die. [devilishgrin]

And 1 player reported the glitch in texture.

terrain glitch is all packed up, ladder is working correctly, russian spawns are NOT underground. I want to make a noprone script for the water, and then I can release a fixed version.

haha I'm so embarassed I feel like a noob releasing a map like this.

You should minefield off the water altogether because it really has no real purpose as you said you can only cover the bank where 95 percent of the battle won't be and if I remember correctly the water is so deep in most areas you don't have to go prone as your whole body is concealed standing up or in crouch. What if you maybe placed a clip over water so players could walk on top of it giving the feel the water has frozen over which could happen in the climate of your map right? Never seen that done before be pretty unique addition.

Frozen would be logical. Is there a way to make the character "slide" across the frozen water like you would on a real frozen pond?

there is no official way but you can do it by placing a terrain patch about 20 units above the water and give it a full transparent texture when the player touches it he will start "gliding"
