Don't use caulk for that, use "clip" instead.

Some models don't have colmaps, which make them non solid ingame

No.. you should put it so it follows your model.

A common mistake is to have two xmodel folders nested (e.g. /xmodel/xmodel/imthemodel

No need to worry about non-colliding -- don't do that step.

Not all models have collmaps, which is why in some cases you need to use clips. But many/most should have collmaps assuming you extracted correctly.

Check the paths first...

my entitys says:

key: model
value: xmodel/vehicle_spitfire_flying

i used winrar to take out the iwd.13 files. took out the xmodel folder put it ito main. open radient. (have skybox and floor) right click, misc, model. it opens up the xmodel folder and entitys. put down entitys and find vehicle_spitfire_flying in the folder. click ok. and the enititys says whats above. i make sure its on the ground. compile and test it. i can walk right thru all the models i put....tell me if i missed a step.

That is correct now you have to put some brushes around the plane with a clip texture so the player will not go through.
