just be awar that most models are preclipped. If you choose a model that obviously wasnt intended for play interaction (ie, a plane in 'flying' mode), the developer didn't need ot make a collmap. Stuff like couches, chairs, and static tanks should all be collmapped. If you have trouble with something like that, chances are you don't have a collmap folder.
