For the buildings, we use CoDRadiant and we use the map maker for heart of the battle for placing objects and editing the world.

Guys be fair. It is a new game and lets face it, practice makes perfect. Trial and error is the best way for improvment.

blade12201 has come on here to showcase what work has been done so far. Fair enough if you have comments for improvement, but remember. It is a beta, which is going to be provided to subscribing members.

Be nice or feel the wrath [evil]. hehe.

Im afraid to say that this looks horrible... The Spitfire looks quite good but the map looks horrible... Everything looks very low poly, badly textured & quite frankly unplayable... I had a look at the weapon models on the website & I have to say that they look awful too... Also, arent betas supposed to be virtually finished products in need of some final testing & bug / exploit finding? If that is virtually finished then I think I might cry...

Well... I wont be signing up for preferred membership just yet... I wouldnt download this game if it was free...

Do you really think those were nessisary? If you have nothing nice to say dont say it. I dont want anymore comments regarding the quality of what you see, because its a beta. The final version will look nothing like that.

Umm... How the hell am I being ignorant? What am I being ignorant of exactly? I am stating my views... Is that not what forums are for?

I can understand that the engine limits what can be done, but surely it would be wise to use the highest resolution textures & the highest poly models that the engine will allow in order to bring up graphical quality, rather than use those remeniscent of Quake 1...

The best WW2 shooter on the PC is undoubtedly Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41 - 45 & not even BiA Hells Highway (which looks amazing imo) will knock it off its top spot... As for free WW2 games the best has to be Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory...

When i was given a link to this game i thought it was a joke.

What exactly is your game meant to be? The screenshots supplied are obviously meant to be an imitation of COD. Isn’t the whole point of a new game meant to be originality, that isn’t a question that’s a fact.

I’ve been to carentan and id like to point out that the streets are not paved with sand, and are also a tad more houses than that. Not to mention a huge cathedral.

The fact your map is based on some one else's map which is loosely based on a fictional TV not only shows the limitations of your imagination but the limitations of any real effort put into this "game".

A quick google image search using the words "carentan" gives a whole host of REAL pictures of carentan, they are much more reliable than using a screenshot of some one else’s work. I’m sorry to say but your map looks to be about as historically accurate as the terminator. I for one will refuse to play a game using a blatant copy of a map i don't even like. Please post some pictures of an original map.

Now im not going out of my way to insult your work, i cant insult you for for effort. but i don’t have to insult your work i think it does that by itself.

Quite clearly there is no effort what so ever put into this, none past the point of making a terrible copy of a 4 year old map, - which in no ones eyes is classed as a stand alone game (i can pick up COD1 in the barging bin for less than a 5er - it contains the map your game is trying to copy)

The texturing is also abysmal, you might as well texture the inside and outside of every house the same... oh wait. Is it a coincidence there are as many textures as there are letters in the word "crap"? Please fix this if you are seriosly considering releasing this in any way shape or form.

Can i also inquire to the engine that is used? As mentioned above people will be aware of limitations of the engine, but no commercial engine gives such dire results when used correctly. Is your engine powered by the up and down motions of your gripping hand? If such is the case maybe consider changing to a more suitable engine.

The render of the plane is some what well done, can i ask how this plane will play a part in your game which i presume is multiplayer? On the topic of multiplayer did you write the net code yourself? If so i will compliment you there, can i have a video of it in action?

ALOT more work needs to be done before this is even ready for an internal alpha release if these (early?) screenshots are anything to go by.
