Today, Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) president Patricia E. Vance and Georgia State Attorney General Thurbert Baker jointly announced a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign

The PSA is designed to educate parents about the video game rating system and use it when purchasing games for their family. The campaign will begin running on Georgian TVs and radios in the weeks to come.

 

Have any of you who live in Georgia seen changes in stores etc?

We should (Or even I should) look at getting these guys to start with "Parents Here Is How to ban The Sims Campaign"

I bet they would start it if only someone wrote them a letter..... hmmm

the sims is the root of all evil....

so if i read this correct - they are going to teach the georgians how to read so they dont purchase games for their kids that may be inappropriate, and thereby the parents will once again have to accept the responsibility of raising their own children and instilling moral values into their fragile little minds all by themselves again?

thats all we need - the gov't to legislate morals and parental roles

now you mention it Stryder yes that campaign is actually goign to put a lot of pressure on the parents.
