The only thing that regrettably might keep me from buying your book is that I don't own Quake 4. But when I do get my hands on the game I'll be sure to get my hands on your book as well.

If you have Doom 3 or Prey, then you this book would also be useful. They all use the same game engine so the tutorials should all apply (minus a couple folder paths due to installation differences).

I am trying to finalize a mapping contest for the release of the book. Hopefully I can announce it by Friday.

hehe. im pretty sure folyeyboy's not gunna quit his day job but its now 1 of them things he can half forget about yet get some moderate steady income from for a couple years.

lol. I hardly think I will make much of a profit from the book. I did it for the experience more than the money. That's why I make tutorials... I enjoy it. Although, the book was so much work I gotta wonder how much I really "enjoyed" it. lol.

Think of it as a tutorial available in the book stores. Heck, I even dedicated it to modsonline.
