Hi folks. Could somebody please tell me how i can add custom music to my map? I have a nice banned nazi song that i want to add to my new germany rhinetown map (hehehe... [devilishgrin] ) I know how to set up sounds that came with the game, but i never used custom sounds before. Were do i have to put the wav, or mp3? Must it be a special format etc?

Thanks.

I think its easy. You put your mp3 in your sound folder, then in your yourmap.gsc you add : ambientPlay("ambient_nameofthesong");

I'm not 100% sure but try it :)

yea it's the same as stock sounds as far as scripting and soundaliases is concerned. the difference is that you have to include the wav or mp3 in your iwd. notice you find stock wav files from the folder sound in iw_05.iwd ? well you need to replicate that in your own iwd.
