Do I need to cut the floor at the corner of walls, or do I need to stretch the walls into the floor. or what is the right way to get the light to quit bleeding below the walls??

no the best way to solve this problem is to cut the wall or even better, select your wall and press the "E" key. that will make blue squares show up on the corners. take one of them and drag it to a forty five degree.. That will bevel the entire bottom section of the wall. do the same for the floor. so the floor is 45 and the wall is 45 they meet to make the 90. that will stop all light from getting through the bottom. do the same with all the walls and floors and no light will seake through the cracks.

Lol i think your eyesight is starting to go, but anyway cut brushes to fit ie:no intersecting textures or T junctions.

OK guys, I have tried the occluder tool, not exactly sure how it works or what it does,(wish there was a section for definitions of all the tools.:D) I dragged it out a little bigger than each wall at first making it the same depth and covering door openings. Which looked like I was crossing threw alternate diminsions when it was compiled. And the light still bled thru. so I cut the floor and walls and pulled them so that they intersected, which solved the floor problems on most of them, but unfortunatly that trick didnt work for the wall to wall intersections. I didnt try the angled corners, but I read here that some people had problems with that as well. Anyway if there is another trick up someones sleave please let me know.. thanks

One thing to note using the occluder texture - do not put it where the player can walk though it, as you found out it does weird and wonderful things.

If you want to see how an occluder is best used load gradient for uo, if you have it, and look how they are used in Foy.
