You might want to mention that the modifications to HQ or the hud will not work if used with a mod that allso modifies HQ or hud and a lot do. Or perhaps provide a seperate serverside *iwd for that, or a custom gametype. Of course a custom gametype may or may not be supported with various mods either.


Same would apply to the .efx files but the chance of those being changed in a mod is less.

There is a known problem with flak88 and mortar on AWE beta10 mod server. The problem has been researched and I believe it is fixed. I will probably release a patch called Beta 2.1 to fix this server crash. As for the HQ fix, yes it would be better as a separate IWD file, and for the next version (most likely the final version if the patch works well) it will come in two IWD files. The link for the patch will come shortly.

ps- the efx files in this package are unqiuely named for mp_chelm, it shouldnt affect any other map/mod unless they happen to use the exact same name as my efx files. Naming has always been a problem :(

Work nice on Windows AWE 3b10 but Flak + mortars seems disabled on my Linux server (exactly the same installation as on Windows).
I also don't see any "Notice: Mortar ammo" at the start of the round when on Linux as I see on Windows.

On both, something is written on the right low corner of the screen mentionning "mp-chelm beta 2 HQ Fixed" and this remains on all others maps. Do you know how remove that ?

[Edit]: This seems to come from the hud.menu file in ui_mp directory. Is there a way to disable this without modify the iwd ?

yea doh that was my bad, i forgot the hud will stay everymap lol. it will be off in the final version sorry ;p

yea the beta 2 version doesnt work with AWE at all, the beta 2.1 will, and you can get it here:

amazing details

unbeliveable scripting job


just missing the "far view" , so details in background

for the sky id suggest taking a bigger size texture
on this one you can see the pixels

and the layout is a bit confusing

but overall

just amazing

you simply are amazing with those....I'm still watching the church SS of radiant you have on the site...and ...well...no words [rocking]

The curves took me quite long to create, all I do is drag the vertices to form the shape I want ("V"). Takes awhile to make them smooth and even, and most of all patience lol. Once you have the basic 1/4 of a pattern, then just copy/paste/invert/rotate.

Currently I'm quite busy with the sp version, when I have time I will make a tutorial on how to do the same church I made, and opensource its prefab.

not bad... i just downloaded the first version and their are a few problems with it.. i can't get the mortars to fire and their is no flak88, also i can see past some bushes into teh skybox and non of the lights work correctly. they stay on then when you walk past them they switch off

but iel give it 7.5/10

Nice !!! The new version (Beta 2.1) works now like a charm in my Linux AWE3b10 CoD² Server !

And people seems to have a lot of fun playing this map !!!
