Could we get a starter tutorial for prey with some tips on gravity etc? That would be really cool... thanx guys...

If I have the time I will do something. Generally I would have just done it except for the huge work load I currently have. I have gone as far as opening the demo maps in the Doom III editor. So I know it can be done. I bought the game when it was released but I still haven't found the time to install it. So, I don't know what was stripped from the game that might interfere with editing. For now, I suggest trying the Doom 3 tutorials (left side of page) and seeing if they work. That's where I would plan on starting myself. Do you have Doom 3? I am wondering if you have the option of using the Doom 3 editor as I have.

yes I have doom3 as well as Quake4 and am fairly familiar with both editors.

IF you can wait about 25 hours, I will get the starting tutorial recorded and uploaded for you (and anyone else). I will put together a video tutorial tomorrow when I get home from work. I just ran some tests and I know what I am doing. FYI.. good news for you and me, I have a Quake 4 Mods for Dummies book coming out in a few weeks and I most of what's in the book will work for this game. Just the setup for the editor is slightly different.

The video will be up in about 10 minutes. It took a really long time to compress... well over an hour. Run time is 36 minutes. requires quicktime 7.1 or better. You'll see the link on the front page or in the new Prey downloads section.
