Right now the sun is in a different place than I want it. So how do you rotate the skybox textures? (I can work out the lighting issues - worldspawn - myself)

And while I'm at it, how to you set the compass? (I realize both answers may be the same, but...)

I'd hate to have to select and rotate the whole map.

Thanks in advance.

I believe that is worldspawn settings. sundirection, northyaw and also look into making a .sun file.

instead of the compass being dependent on your placement of N.S.E.W. instead, realize the placement of all the things in your map are currently dependent of the compass. So just make a small render, run the map and find north.
then, go back, select everything but the sky box, and rotate accordingly. This is the self taught mans method of problem solving.

I just tested this and getting the compass to line up where you would like is the 'northyaw' worldspawn setting. The value can be from 0-360. This keeps you from having to rotate your map to match where you would like North to point. You'll have to do trial and error to get it just right when in game with your map.

I got the skybox to rotate by rotating the map.

I selected the skybox, saved it and deleted it. I saved the map then loaded the skybox by iteslf. I then re-loaded the map (which left everything but the skybox selected) and rotated it 90 degrees.

The compass I'm working on and should have in a little bit.

Once again, thanks for the help.
