Hello does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

i have read some things about this and it seems to me that the way to fix that bleed through is to angle the floor at a 45 degree and angle the wall at a 45 degree and meet the two together. if you look in your docs folder, you will see it does talk about this problem and it sais that you need to cut the wall to fit the floor. and that means cut the floor at a 45 degree. now you can do this by selecting the wall or the floor and press the E key. that will give you some verts, it makes it easy to bevel the brush at a 45 degree. you can also use V.. try it out on the picture you posted and let us all know the results..

i found that the occluder cuts light from the player. so if you put a block infront of the player then walk into it, it will be pitch black.
for the 45 degree thing, did you cut the floor and the wall and meet them flush? so 45 and 45 to make the 90..if you look at the prefab buildings and towers, that's how they all are constructed.

Yup used the edge tool to do it, no dice :( I guess I could live with it, but if anyone figures it out, please post.

Pressing "E" dunno if that's what it's called official, but that's what I call it. [biggrin]

wow u guys talk about the hard ways to fix stuff.

instead here is the easy way. Just make the wall longer, all the way to the bottom of the floor brush. Then, cut out the floor where it overlaps the wall now. After that you should have a floor that is in the same spot, but it meets the wall at its side, instead of at its bottom. so even if it does leak you wouldnt be able to see it.
