Hello! The path raised gamestate to 128k from 16k. What is gamestate though?

"Gamestate" is like RAM, but RAM the game uses. Particularly with multiplayer, the size of gamestate determines what kind of weapons, skins, HUD elements, and any other sort of customizations a modder might want to add.

Call of Duty 2's stock multiplayer used 16k of Gamestate, but that is an insanely low amount of gamestate for modders to work with. That is why the patch increased it to an insanely HIGH level. Now, in-theory, you could add like 40 weapons or something to the game :P.

I am not a pro, but that is my understanding of gamestate. It is a basic level of understanding, and maybe a coder or somebody more apt to rely on gamestate will know better. I rely on my coder for Unbound Forces' gamestate rationing :)

What does this mean in a simple sentence? You can expect larger mods with more custom content than ever before!
