Hi there !!!
Is it possible to make fog that stay's low like you can see morning's [rolleyes].

im sure you can. heres a few suggestions. take an efx of perhaps dust, or rolling smoke and...
1. in the fx file define its range/size on the z axis to less then its default size/amount.
2. go into the fx-editor and modify the effect and shrink it down.
3. place its z axis location below the ground and let only the top half of the smoke/fog/dust effect show.

What is required to remove fog all together? Is it a script edit? If so, which file contains the script?

fog is controlled in the maps scripts... if you alter those you can't play on most servers anymore.. and you;ll get kicked and possibly banned on the PsB listed servers for having a no fog cheat.

in other words.. don't do that.

Unless ofcourse you're making your own map, in which case it's as simple as NOT adding fog to your map.

So if I take out the

"setExpFog(0.0001, 0.55, 0.6, 0.55, 0);
setCullFog (0, 9000, .68, .68, .68, 0);"

completely, the fog will be gone? Thanks for your help...

One more question. If I'm manipulating the amount of fog via the setexpfog ling, what does the first number represent.

I know that the setCullFog line defines the color and amount of fog in your map as follows: setCullFog (near distance, far distance, Red, Green, Blue, transition time).

So is the setExpFog as follows? setExpFog (fog density, Red, Green, Blue, transition time).

Can you have one or the other or must you use both for certain affects?
