Hey,

Ive got a problem with the windows... they look fine in the editor but when compiled you can see through the Sides of the window (not just the front and back faces) so basically if makes whatevers behind it invisible.. which sucks.

Ive applied a NoDraw to all the windows, and then textures only the front and back faces, but still get the same problem?

Is the only solution to pull the windows away from the frame by 1 block? :/ (It is a see through window however the frame doesnt appear on the top, bottom left and right faces)

Any help would be apprechiated.

Heres 2 screenshots of what i mean..

Thanks

It looks like that you forgot to texture the sides of your brushes

Nope, got them textured how ive read it on others queries..

Use a nodraw on the window, then apply the texture on front and back faces.? Doesnt work, get the Invisible error above ^

Ive tried this with any kind of texture (A wood one for instance) on the other faces, and it still does the same.

Heres some proof ;)

Try it with a nodrawdecal texture.

But something else why not use the models. There are alot of them ready to use.

see some on this site

how to get them from the game you can read here

Sorry but neither worked (Nodraw/Nodrawdecal/Caulk) so i guess im stuck?

The standard ones are Crap to be honest, and they definatley dont go with my style of map (which you will all see when i get some things like windows sorted).

so anymore suggestions on how to get this working?
