I saw the movie over making a curved terrainroad.
There is the advanced patch editing opties (y) used.
When i want to use it i will get the circle but nothing happens to the terrain.

Does anybody knows how this works and what all the options mean??

I don't have my rad in front of me so won't be able to be too specific but here goes.

The most common use is paint height - you select the inner and outer ring size you want and be sure the soft selection of vertices is turned off.

Press alt to activate any of the commands in the "Y" Patch menu.

In the case of Paint Height - on the selected patch anywhere you move the circles too and press alt - you can pull the terrain vertices up by holding alt and pressing the left mouse btn. Hold alt and press the right btn to make it sink.

Experiment with the others - the smooth feature is another good one once you have a rough terrain set - it will smooth up or smooth down the terriain using the same alt and btn method.

Patch or brush is irellevant it is the texture you choose - you will not fall through a regular texture but you will fall through an alpha blend textured if it is a blend it will have _blend in the name.
