i made my iwd file. i followd the directions to a T. maps>>mp_foyle.gsc maps>>mp_foyle.d3dbsp and when i put it into a zip file then convert it into an .iwd nothing. It wont show up as a map any suggestions. Tiki

did you make a .arena file? thats the only way to "list" your map.

What did you use to pack the .iwd? Avoid using winrar for packing .iwd's because it will sometimes cause problems. Use winzip or PakScape and just change the file extension once it's been packed. edited on Jun. 14, 2006 11:14 pm by Tridon

You have maps\mp_foyle.gsc and .bsp when you should have maps\mp\mp_foyle.gsc and .bsp

Hey, I need help.. when I rename my .zip file to .iwd, it stays as a zip file... how can I fix this?

In Windows Explorer click Tools, then Folder Options. Click the View tab, and untick "Hide Extensions for known filetypes". Because Windows is hiding it, when you rename your zip you are effectively naming it mp_map.iwd.zip because it's hiding the .zip extension.
