So, I just reformated to fix this problem with my graphics messing up and it didn't fix it but.......that's not the problem. When I go to compile a map it gives me this message,"An unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignor this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will be shut down immediately. Could not find a part of the path "C:/program Files/activision/call of duty 2bin/CoD2CompileTools.settings".

i just reinstalled cod2 2 (because i got an error) and what i did was click "continue" and then look up and u will see a "browse" button, search manually your cod2 folder. hope that helps!!

Ok, so I somehow figured out this problem and I know it wasent any of those, I re-installed the game and am still getting the problem. I'v dicked around with it for 4 days strieght now and didn't want to look like a dumbass but it's innevitable.....any suggestions would be awsome.

tried reinstalling Radiant already? Did you install .Net? Did you install DX9c? Did you install your latest video drivers? Is your CoD2 installed in the folder it tells you in your error?

None of that worked....I'm just giving up b/c I can't think what's wrong. every time i click on my maps or all my maps tabs it shows up. Im soo pissed at this god damn message

I relized I don't have a /maps/mp/ folder.......is this important? And in the compiler, there is no maps showing in my maps or all maps tab. How do i get the folder? edited on Sep. 15, 2006 02:56 am by mburesh

the maps/mp folder will be created when you compile. Did you set up the compiler correct? Because the maps (mp_test, matmata etc.) should show up if you've got the compiler looking in the correct folder. again: Is your CoD2 installed in the folder it tells you in your error?

It's part of the error.......so it has to be instaled. I guess I don't really get the quetion, sorry. I'v looked in that folder and the file is there, the cod2compiletools.gettings.exe is in there.
