Hey All-

I was wondering if anyone knew how to create a new drive on a hard drive, ex. "F" drive. I want to put a pure copy of CoD2 into the new drive for mapping but I can't remember how to make a new letter drive. Also- will this work? I tried to install CoD2 with a new name on my C drive for mapping but no joy.

Another idea I had was to remove CoD2, install it under a different pathname, ex. C/pure/cod2 and then see if I can install the game again under the default pathname. Any ideas??

Just copy the install folder \Activision\Call of Duty 2 to another location, either a new folder, another partition or a different HD. You'll have to change all the shortcuts and point them to the right location of the copied install. Make sure you remove all mods and mod folders from the copied location for your mapping. I've done this. It works great and I don't have to worry about mods messing up my mapping.
