really appreciate the nice comments mates![pimp]

so here is the update i promised for this week,
screens of the village near the B objective, the map is now almost finished (85%), only need to make the map borders, add the gametypes and fix some scripting issues.

i'm planning to add all gametypes in the final version, but in the beta version i only gonna add sd, ctf (and maybe tdm), only in the sd gametype the allies spawn in the higginboats and get airsupport on the beach.

The map layout is finished now and in the screenshot (click here: Overview) you can see where i plan on putting the objectives and flags.



I know how important flag and spawn placement is in ctf, so if you think you see a better spot for the placement of the flags and spawnarea's, please sent an email to hybrid86[at]gmail.com with subject: Salerno and a copy of the screenshot with your ctf flags on it, or post it here. [wave]

Additional Notes :

This map is yet only playable in the tdm, sd and ctf gametype.
When playing sd the allies will spawn inside higginboats
which will transport them to the beach. The boats will wait
9 seconds before they leave, so don't wait too long if you
want to be allies. The easiest way to leave the higgins is
by climbing over its side (climbing over the front is
possible but a bit harder).
And DON'T move back into the ocean; you WILL get shot down
;-)

Also for server admins:
you may want to increase the sd round time, due to the size
of the map.
And limit some weapons and nades.
