Tre-

Open the map you are working on, then go to Files->load...

This should open a box that shows all your .map files and there should be a folder "Prefabs". Click on that folder and it will open the list of prefabs that are loaded. Double click on the .map file you want and Radiant will "load" it on to your existing map. The prefab will already be completely selected so no matter where it ends up on your map, you can move it into position. It seems that the "open..." command will open a new map with the prefab as the only thing on it. The "load..."command will place it on your map...lol, at least for me. Caution! Save your map prior to loading your prefab. I've notice that with large prefabs (church, etc.), if you quickly try to move it's position aas soon as it's placed on your map, Radiant will crash. After loading a prefab, let the computer "catch up" for a few secs and then move the prefab...slowly. Works for me [casanova]

Sorry to spam this post-

I wasn't implying that Radiant has a bug when moving prefabs. I think that it is simply a memory issue in computers with smaller RAM. If a prefab has lots of stuff in it and Radiant is getting it together (on lower memory computers) and you move it too quickly...well that's just many more things the computer has to think about...and my computer, specifically, just doesn't seem to like it. I have to give it a few seconds to think, lol.
