Thx for the help i have Radiant up and running, i have followed the video tutorial which is excellent. I have another problem now however, when i try to use the compiler i get an error message d3dx9_27.dll not found.
Don't think this is anything to do with my card i have a ATI Radeon X850XT Platinum Edition. Anyone any ideas?

And this is caused by custom textures in some maps, you will need to move your custom maps out of your main directory as well.

Thank you for the help, i downloaded the file and the complier now works i have just walked around my first map in COD2 :)

With an inside room now playable (from the vid tutorial) within cod2 i would like to start a basic map, i have looked for a tutorial about this, making a skybox, and a basic sealed terrain etc but have drawn a blank does anyone have a link?
