just wondering. lets say i have 2 high detail maps. there great, lots of cool things and scripting and the judges like them both but one is just made up and the other one is based off of a true place in the world, lets say, a town where a real fight took place in WWII. so would one get a higher rating then the other due to it being based on a real event in history?

OR

in the contest rules it says sumthing about being historically correct or sumthing. does that mean, IF my map were to be based off of a real place where a historical event happened. how accurate are all the buildings? and if i have a map not based off of a real place, does it matter?

hope this makes sense so far

i read in forums. that whoever said it (moderator i think) would rather have places based off of imagination then based off of a real place?

perhaps this can be a topic for modsonair? seems rather important for the contestants to know what maps get higher scores.
1. Historical Accurate places
2. Made up places
3. Historical places that are half accurate
4. a historical place but changed a little

hope this makes sense. thanks.

realistic would mean no spaceship maps in ww2 environment

that type of thing. judging is more based on the mapping and playablility of the map itself, and the more believeable your map is, the better
