ive found loads of pics on the internet of the cranes there are only a few close up so its gonna be a bit hard to get the detial but luckly someone got to get a pic of the track wheels on them so uve got the bit were i cant go to get pics ![[tongue]](images/BBCode/smilies/tongue.gif) ill be down belfast soon enough so i can get some nice pics of the cranes so u can get the detail u need. u can download wot i have so far from the internet here
oh yes after the looking for the pics i found a tiny bit of info about the cranes. they are 140 meters long u would need to convert the inches into meters i think a square in CoD is 1 inch.
and the cranes names are Samson and Goliath.
Samson is the one closest to the water i think lol.
Well hope the pics help to get the main shape sofar ![[thumbs_up]](images/BBCode/smilies/thumbs_up.gif) |

Guess you dind't really read my post. Hmm.
To quote myself: "is from June 15, 2006"
Sooo, next time don't tell me to "look carefully at the post's date" when I've already written it, clearly seen it, and reported on it... Okay?
The way you wrote this part "The only version released was for UO" make it seem like you attempt to make a statement that this map wasn't released and won't be, ever. They started making this map AFTER the UO version was made (obviously).
And if they abandoned the map they proooobably would have stated that soooomewhere on the internet. To use your own words "So if they the map was released the post would have been updated" They could just as easily update it to make it say that the project is dead (if it is).
However, your saying "So if they the map was released the post would have been updated" isn't really valid as a part of an answer to my post before yours.
I wrote in my post that "Or has it already been finished but not yet released publically on any CoD-webpage yet or something like that?" ...Note the words "not yet released publically".
Obviously, we would not know that. (however, the creators would be able to confirm it) But your "So if they the map was released the post would have been updated" bit of your text, can really only be applied if the issue was wether or not it had already been released and PUBLICALLY available.
The only conclusion so far, and has been since the creators last post (on any website or forum), is that the work is still in progress but going very slowly ... OR that it's been finished but not published or released yet (but that's not really the issue, the true issue is information on the state of development).
So yeah. We're still waiting for it's sudden release, or, perhaps words from it's creator(s). |

sevensniff writes...Quote: in the harbor you should add the two famous cranes that made it Harland & Wolf i dono the cranes names but Harland & Wolf is the company that own them.
*Looks out bedroom window at harland and wolf cranes*
The cranes are called David and Goliath
And ill post a picture next time i go to school (I can see them clearly there) (Im sick today...posssibly tomorow as well)
I can get real detailed photos just in case sevens wernt detailed enough (u nub seven :D:D:D... [he gets it...no worries])
The cranes would be a brilliant addition to the map
Also...Our school is doing a project on the titanic at the moment so we've learned a few things that couold be huge in realism.
-Only three of the chimneys on the boats worked, the fourth was just for show
-The price for a 1st class cabin on the titanic was 64,000 pounds (Possibly use this for a sign or something)
-The docks were a really run down area (still are) possible if u have thin smog floating about.
