how do i add color to my water? i know it's there, but i can't see the water. any help?

Make water with the "clip_water" texture and then make the top face one of the 1234 water textures. This should make the top face "watery".

in your texture menu. set usage to liquid, locale to all, and surface to water.

Pick opne of the water textures with the numbers blocks. it will look lik3 water ingame.

Click on "textures" at the top of the editor then scroll down and you will see "usage","locale", and "surface type"

ok, so i found the textures and now do i put them over the clip_water? or do i take one of those blue number textures and make it into a box... and that box is where that water will be?

yes...ctrl+shift+click selects the individual face - in your case the top - and you put the visible texture there
