okay, I have searched but haven't found anything that solves the problem...

I scale a model to make it bigger, then I quickly compile the map and test it, but when I run into the model (I made a rock bigger) I can walk through the rock.[exclamation]

any solutions to make the enlarged model solid?

And, also I place a mine texture...and when I test the map, if I walk over the area where the mine texture is, nothing happens, is there anything I hav to do in the entity window thingy?

the rock probably doesnt have a collmap.

So make your own using a CLIP texture... "player clip" ??

Ur problem isnt the size of the model, u are using a model that dosnt have the collision map.

Find the "collmaps" folder to see what models have it.

For the 1 that u are using u need to build ur own collision map, a collection of brushes sorrounding the model textured with "ClipNoSight".

in the collmap folder it says that the model does have a collmap[confused]

Build your own collmap.

making a minefield is easy, but not THAT easy.

Make your minefield brush. texture it with the minefield texture. While the brush is selected, right click in the 2D view and select trigger> multiple.

Now select your minefield brush (in case it was deselected after doing trigger multiple), and press 'n' to bring up the entity values window. you should see in the bottom white space:

Code:

classname       trigger_multiple


now, in the key box type in targetname
in the value box type in minefield

press enter

you should now see:

Code:

classname       trigger_multiple
targetname      minefield


make a gsc file for your map (click), and you're done.

thanks for the mine bit..how can I make a collmap?..just with the clip brushes?

As he said. Just place a clip brush in the shape of your rock around the model.
