First: Stay calm
Second: I didn't say his map was bad. I said it would be better when less prefabs were used.
Third: New mappers dont HAVE to start with prefabs (CoD1 and CoDUO didn't have prefabs like CoD2 does). I started with my own brushwork
Fourth: After the wait IW put us through, just about any custom map is popular (not saying anything about yours, as I haven't seen them yet).
Fith: Nothing, I just like to do things in fives. Oh, got one. Sorry if this offended you, just sayin what I feel. |

Ty you all for the compliments and constructive criticisms alike. I take all of this into account as I am still learning. Devil, I took no offense to what you're saying as I understand your meaning and have been thinking I need to use less prefabs myself. On the other hand they ARE handy. And while I thank you for defending my use of them , Capt. Com., I don't think Devil intended any insult or offense. Yoyoyo, my SS's aren't the greatest and Island Fort. may not have a very realistic feel, it is very small and a slaughter map, but point well taken. Might I suggest you give Snipertown a try and see what you think? Not insulted at all, constructive criticism such as you have given is taken well and into consideration. Also, ty for the compliment. Leon, as far as what you're saying I have noticed this as well and think it may be I don't have my skybox zeroed in on the x,y, and z axis properly. But as you stated if I join a team and then go to spec, all is well. Maybe someone could tell me the cause of this so I could fix it? Thank you all and , PLZ, keep the comments coming as you are all helping me more than you know. Also, those of you running my maps have my deepest thx as all that I could ask as a custom mapper is for my maps to be run on servers. Thank you. ![[tongue]](images/BBCode/smilies/tongue.gif)

UPDATE: Rommel's Oasis Armory
This is version 1.1 of my Rommel's Oasis Armory map. I have changed the teams from
Russian and German to American and German with Africa skins. I overlooked this when I first finished the
map. Russians in Normandy skins don't exactly fit in the desert,lol. Also added a crate
bonfire by the trucks, 2 lanterns in the tunnel and a crashed Stuka in the pond. Hope you
all like the changes. Here's a SS of the new version. Download link to follow as soon as the admin reviews the uploaded file and posts it.
