PB does not kick for this file, the one you may have seen is gfx_d3d_mp_x86_s.dll. And pb will only kick if that file fails the md5 check. |

d3dx9_27.dll is not a stock file, if that is anywhere near your cod2 folder you are gonna get kicked and if the server is streaming added to the MBL, just ask the 8 people who are on there already for having this file.
I wont publically post peoples guids or IP's but if your cod2 server is streaming take a look at the pbbans.dat |

As you can see the d3dx9_27.dll is not on the list, if 8 people are on the masterbanlist for this please provide a punksbusted ban id for one of them so it can be verified. |

The_Caretaker writes...Quote: The md5 checklist is different for people with streaming servers.. they update the "basic" one every once in a while...
I no longer have a cod2 server that is why i needed lnrobbo to verify it(thankyou lnrobbo). Now that it is confirmed punksbusted is banning for the d3dx9_27.dll, it would be great if lnrobbo could post the md5 check for that, so we can see what directory they are checking. Most likely it is not the bin directory but in the future i think we should point them to an installer package such as this one. This would eliminate the potential for people to put it in the wrong directory, as you know it is easy to get on the banlist but it is not easy to get off. |
