There is no easy way to put this, but Activision has revealed that the next Call of Duty game won't be released on PC. Rather, it will only be available for the newest consoles. It's a matter of sales and profits. Activision is making more money from the sale of the CoD2 console version than they are the PC version. Althought this sounds grim for us, it's still possible that what CEO Bobby Kotick by his statement is that this next CoD product is just a spin-off of the original series and not the official CoD3. Let's hope.

There wasn't much news for COD3 until now. I guess the saying goes well here, "No News is Good News". Or maybe the saying "This news is bad news" fits better

Well if this is so i NEVER EVER by me a game anymore. Because the industry forces people to switch to the console. And in the end other companies will do the same. Cant affort me a Playstation 3 for 600 € or 600 $. Then we have the problem that games for Playstation 2 cant be used for Playstation 3. What to do if your Playstation gets damaged? What to do with your games?
