Hi Guys,

When i compile my map it would'nt load on our server so i had someone take a look at it for me, He came back and told me that i hadnt put in TDM spawns.

I had put the DM spawns in but not the TDM ones can anyone tell me how this is done and where do you put them.

Is it the same as your DM spawns/intermissions as i put in to view my map before compiling.

Yes.

Adding spawns and intermissions are all done the same way.

you need one tdm spawn for every area you wish to spawn at. Same applies for dm/tdm/ctf , i believe sd needs to have multiple spawns in the same area.

For DM/TDM gametypes, I would recommend about 2x what you think max population for the server will be. Maybe even only 1.5x. So for a 32 player server... 48-64 spawns. Even then, not everyone connects in at the same time so you rarely need that many.

Spread 'em out, keep them from being insta-kills. More spawnpoints also makes it harder to guess where someone will spawn. Which makes it less worthwhile to spawn-camp a single spot with a sniper rifle.
