From what I read, not many ppl are including S&D in their COD2 maps...

Is this because of the limited info on creating this game type?

If there is a Tut on S&D development out there, will someone place a link please...Id love to get started on some custom maps for COD2 - but my clan is particularly interested in the S&D maps.

I think the latest maps where created in such a hurry they didn't bother to include the SD gametype.

It's actually gotten incredibly easy to add SD to a map now, because of the prefabs.

Put a prefab Bombsite A and B in
Put a sd_bombtrigger prefab in
Put a few SD spawnpoints
Put a gloabal intermission

Tada.. S&D basically works (don't forget to set the attackers and defenders in the .gsc file).

yeah, instead of like in UO and cod1 where you have to enter a whole bunch of enitys and make the triggers and all that stuff

You can still do that too and thus create your own SD bombsites.

Basically, it works the same as the SD in CoD and UO.

You'll need two versions of your house. A before and after
Make sure you make them "script_brushmodels".

You can also open one of the prefabs (they're .map files) through File -> Open.. that way you can see all the key/values you'll need.
Do NOT alter the prefabs though!
