yes sad isnt it? i no u dont care bout me... how do i get spawn points to work? and how u make the map a dm map???

G'day there, dont be like that, we all had to learn at first as well. [biggrin]

I suggest you look at all the faq's and tutorials first, your post suggest that you havn't ?? :)

First thing you do in a new map is set it's properties in the editor, go to menu/edit/Map Properties, give it a name and define the paths and map type, mp or single player.

All gametypes in mp maps need to have intermissions placed in them, if you want dm then right click on the 2d grid and select mp/deathmatch_intermission, then to place place your spawns right click on 2d grid and select mp/deathmatch_spawn, it wil look like a tall red block.
That's it, it's as simple as that :)

yes and for CTF spawnpoints you must simply enter one key and one value. everything CTF is there for you right here

just thot that would be of interest.

CTF tutorial... (shudders)

I've been looking at that CTF tutorial for an entire week off-and-on. Currently, I have mp_foy opened up on one screen while I scrutinize my CTF setup on the other screen.

There should be a link to the pre-fabs inside the tutorial, or some indication that you can go to downloads to nab those prefabs.

Alas I have a working 'map' so to say... more like a room... with a flamethrower and a satchel... But none the less a map!![cool]I am awesome
