How to compare real-world system of measurement with SOFRadiant grid sizes and pixels? For example, if I want to build a room in SOF representing a 3x3x3 metres room in the real world, what would be its size in the editor? I think this question is fundamental to good and realistic mapping.

I see those values are for SoF2. I can testify that John Mullins grew 6 inches from SoF 1 to SoF 2.
I took my SoF 1 map that I am building and dropped it into SoF 2 Radiant and most of the ceilings hit my head.

damn.. you are correct. I wonder how that post got in the wrong forum. I must have read that wrong.

ok... lets see if I can remember...

I used to make all my doors 96 x 64. I think the player was 72 units tall, 48 units wide, 48 units tall crouching, able to jump 48 units high.

Ceilings I would start at 104. halls I would make 128 wide.

I hope that gives you a better idea.

Is it really that difficult to build a small room and figure out how tall the room should be? If anyone of you owns a home you will realize that stuff is built out of convenience not scale, or my house would be straight, square and plum. But it ain't! Figure that your character is 6ft tall and just do the math. if you hit head exiting a door then make it bigger. Once you get the size of a hall way down, then learn to copy/paste. Its much easier. Everything else is trial n error. peace
