For number 3 im guessing you didnt actually choose a water texture. You chose one of those 'case textures' that are used in place of water for testing purposes.

Choose a new water texture that doesnt have those numbers on it.

Ok #1. How come even though I have a spwan point for each game type and when I go into CoD to test my map and I set it for TDM or something it's always DM?

#2 Why are parts of the ground clear?

Ok make it 3 questions. Why isn't the water texture I chose not working? It just appears with all the numbers on it like it does while im making the map.

the top side of the brush has to be textured with one of those number textures. most of them look normal ingame but there was one that didn't work with me so maybe you got the wrong one as well but all the rest works.
What do you mean with question 2?

Parts of the ground are literaly clear, along with part of my bunker floor. I think the shadows are screwed up. I can see through to the bottom of my skybox, but I don't wall through.

For the water I just use Duhoc they are all the same anyway.

Well as for the clear ground i may be Caulked textures. Caulk is used on all surfaces which will not be seen by the players, The caulked surfaces wont be calculated by the compiler and your framerate rises.

You can check for caulk textures by doing this - When in radiant click F and untick everything except Detail,Caulk and Nondecals leave the other section as it is. You should see the caulked textures.

If its not caulked textures it must be blended textures or decals.

Well it's not caulked, and it's not a decal or blended cause I don't even know how to blend textures yet. Could it be something I didn't tick while compling it?

wait, could it be because 3 diffrent brushes cross right there?

So ehh anyone? Cause I fixed why one part of the ground was clear, it was cause my skybox wasn't low enough. Now I just gotta fix the rest of the ground. I think it has to do with shadows.
