I've compiled my map, no problems with that. When I try and test the map I get a fatal error(file'maps/mp/gametypes/_callbacksetup.gsc', line 10)

Ive got the 2 compiled parts of the map plus the .gsc text file in there, I have no idea what causing this problem.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Have you cleared all of the mods out of your main folder? Try that.

Make sure you've turned pure off in the "create New Server" menu.

I had the exact same problem. I cant remember exactly what it was. I'll try to remember .[banghead] [idea]

1)I didn't have a .gsc file. - If its MP map and gsc have to start with mp_mapname ie mp_mapname.d3dbsp; mp_mapname.gsc.

2) Also...I think it happens if your map name is just mapname.d3dbsp but map only has MP spawn points.

I think you'll find if you add in a SP player start . You map will run but you wont have any weapons...unless the GSC file has the german vs American or Russian information.

3) SP = mapname only
4)MP = MP_mapname

Hope this helps and sorry if it sounds sketchy cause it is...

the gsc is name same as your map ?
the gsc ends in .gsc and not .txt ? (Some times people make then and they look like this mymap.gsc.txt when it should be mymap.gsc)

hey bro when ur saving ur gsc file go to "save as" and change the format to "unicode" so it doesnt add .txt at the end.

Thanks everyone.

Ill try deleting all of my mods and see if that does anything. My gsc file is named mp_beta.gsc after my map so that isnt a problem.

I have to go to school now but ill try these when I get home and report back to everyone.
