This is the first question I've posted in a long time. I have thoroughly searched the forums, but I cannot find an answer.

Im making a map in Graydiant and have used about 30 different textures. One of those textures (surfaces@black) I believe is causing problems and I want to remove it from the map completely.

Is there a way to search the map for the brushes or brushsides that have a specific texture? If not, I think I will have to retexture the whole map. [ohwell]

I don't believe there is a feature like that for CODUO radient. What is the error anyway?

Ah, too bad...I hoped there would be. The error is "shader type world/surfaces not found". It could be something else causing that error also, though I'm not sure what it would be.

you can do a 'find & replace' if that helps.

texture menu ->find/replace

click in the 'find' path (in the popup), then click the texture u want to find in the texture window......then click in the 'replace' field, then choose the texture u want instead.

I do a lot of things like that using UltraEdit (a programming editor... well worth the price, which is minimal).

It allows me to open up all of the map source files and search for strings across all open files. That gives me a quick-n-dirty listing of "what layer did I put X on?". Also good for "how many vehicle entities do I have" or "how many models of a particular style" questions.
