how do I install the d3dx9_27.dll

put it in your windows\system32 folder.

So to translate #4...you download the file from that link and simply put the download (after unzipping if need be) in your windows\system32 folder.

Read the install notes.

It says put the "d3dx9_27.dll" in your windows\system\
and not windows\system32\.

if you are downloading this to fix the cod2map.exe/compiler then it def does go in the system32 folder

Solved my cod2map.exe\compiler without ignoring the install
notes which are included with the "d3dx9_27.dll"

I think this site knows how to handle .dll files.

and it solved mine by going into the system32 folder. It could be a typo in the installation notes OR it could be something that dosent matter if its sytem32 or sytem. No need to get upset and write what seems to be an attack on any1 that disgrees

Since i followed only the install notes.
And posted about this in normal way.

So enough of attacking and disagreeing or system or system32.

here is the d3dx9_27.dll : http://www.d3dx9.net/download-missing-d3dx9_27-dll/…download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the system32 folder which is located in windows folder (that is located in your main drive which contains the installed windows)
