We wanted to post a step by step troubleshooting guide for those of you having problems with compatibility to hopefully guide you in the right direction to see exactly what it is that may be causing the problem, and to determine if it is compatibility that is the issue.

Please use the following steps to determine if you are capable to fully use the recently released Tools featuring Radiant:

Step 1) Ensure you have the latest ATI/VIDEO Drivers.

ATI DRIVERS

NVIDIA DRIVERS

Step 2) Ensure you have the latest DX9 Driver.

DX9 DRIVER

Step 3) Ensure you have the latest .NET Framework.

.NET FRAMEWORK

Step 4) Once you have snured you have the latest of all the aforementioned. Confirm that you can force run COD2 USING DX9. Ensure that you have selected it run with DX9.

IF THIS HAS SOLVED YOUR ISSUE - ENJOY - IF NOT - READ ON

If you complete the following steps and still have the problems.

Step 1) Click Start

Step 2) Click Run

Step 3) Type “dxdiag”

Step 4) Click Ok

Step 5) Click Save All Information

Step 6) Send saved information to info@infinityward.com

Step 7) In The Subject Line, Type: ATTN: FOURZEROTWO

This file will give me your computer specs, and allow us to troubleshoot further and determine what may be the issue.
