hi i'm new to mapping and have only just downloaded radient. However, when i start it up and try to do anything on it a message appears which says:

Radient has encountered a problem and will close.

does anyone have any idea how to sort this out becuase it does it everytime.

try this:

check the settings of your video card and disable anything that has something to do with antialysing - if it's an ingame-editor, disable antialysing, and turn the brightness down to somethuing like 1

i put radiant on vista ultimate and every 4 or 5 min program chrash report something like "see updates on microsoft"...is there any patch or some thing likethat...

could be bc COD2 just isn't compatible w/ Vista - I've got similar problems w/ quake4...hopefully this will be fixed in the service pack which is said to be published sometime in autumn - lets see

go there and do What I told you run radiant then let us know what happened

cheers silvershot that has worked!

my error pops up when ever I even try to open radiant. I know that I have all the right hardware and software, but this occured when I tryed to put in a dead cow model. I've also restarted it.

Did U read the tutorial for setting up your Editor.If not let me know so I give U the link to read it and set it up properly.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Radaint and other mod tools and it still gave me the same error. and yes, i've looked at the tuts on how to set it up right.
