Here is the latest details from my new map, of which i don't have a good name for. For those who dont understand what the thread title means COD2 = the game, WIP = work in progress!

So far i have the layout which i am likely to expand! The compile is on low quality preset but still shows good atmosphere! Current teams are american vs german, though this may change!

East road looking towards the rear of the map

Little detailed shot of a destroyed american jeep.



Any ideas and comment appreciated.

very very nice indeed rasta, your maps are sweet but just a suggestion, are those prefabs? if so try not useing them as much, not saying u cant use them but theres alot of them and alot of people will be using them so if everyone releases maps with same buildings in it wont be much fun, but i guess u will be making your own too, good job keep it up bud [cool]

lookin good rasta, tad concerend about the overall size and overall elevation, i like large maps (not not rhinevally large, brecourt sorta size and with a nice variety of elevations throughout, unless its a city map of course) but anyway ua int finished yet so looking good so far, keep it up.

Yes buddy, i understand that it is still small, i have been mapping non stop for 2 days, i have had little more than 3 hours sleeps since Friday, and that is as large as i could do heh! I will continue to increase the size, aswell as add CTF and S&D!

Great looking landscape, you did very well on the alpha texture smoothing. I cant wait to see the finished product!

Looks great! From looking at the screens maybe you could add perhaps some haystacks in the open field for added cover. Just a suggestion from a gamer's view. Keep up the great work!
