Benty, learn to use the clipper tool.

The csg subtract tool shouldn't have been in Radiant and Graydiant either, they left it in by accident. It only causes troubles. You should NEVER use it in CoD or UO either.

And the clipper tool works pretty fast once you've gotten the hang of how it works.

What exactly was / is the problem with CSG functions? They dont cause any problems on regular GTK Radiant for games like RTCW and ET so why do problems occur when its used in CoD Radiant?

actually they did cause problems - and lots of them

if you ask most of the vetran mappers for any game that uses a quake based engine - and therefor a radiant based editor - or even look on the forums for game modding that use the radiant editor - the answer is always the same - avoid csg and you avoid problems

multiple split faces, infinite brushes and miniscule brushes are just 3 of the hazards of using this lazy tool

it was designed (the tools) for 2d drafting/drawing and got stupidly ported into a 3d environment

The CSG tool is the devil![mad]

Just use the clipper tool, it's not worth the risk and pain it will cause when used.

I never have problems with CSG Hollow.
CSG subscart is very handy but to bad it causes all those problems.
