Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has tried using custom textures. Is it the same as in COD 1, or is there something new I need to do.

Ok, I've got my hex editor handy... what to do with it now ?
I could edit some random bytes, but the chance of ending up with something functional seem rather remote ;)

Does anyone have more info on this topic ?

the HEX editor is for making the shader file not the image. In order for a new image to be added you need to make a shader for the image. The game will read the shader and then show the image. I still learning how to do the HEX part to from someone else but have stoped because I got to deal with something else right now.

Here somebody posted another method that uses the asset manager, sounds a lot easier to me.
