Ok, in this thread you can post things you noticed about Radiant for CoD2.

Stuff like:

there are prefabs of alot of stuff in the editor
2 maps along with the editor: mp_matmata and the sp map neuvillers.
They REMOVED the subtract button :D (But not the hollow one though).
There is an FX editor and a compile GUI.
Only maya plugins are available
msic->prefab?
skytextures get rendered correctly like they would ingame. Handy but also confusing, because the sky doesn't get nearer when you move towards it.

got no textures [cry] they show up in the right screen but not under textures> or is it supposed to be in the right screen?

There is 3 folders u can select 2 folders which i think are just filters and the other has all the folders and then they load the textures up

i just instaleld the tools but i think theres a bit more to it than just installing...i make a skybox and when i slect the sides to texture it or make m coulck ..it stays red and doenst change to coulck.


then when i rightclick and place an actor..it crashes...when i load up the matmata or newvillers map it crashes...
a good set up guide would come in handy

when I apply my texture to my brush you dont see the texture... the brush stays blank

I don't have any problems with either loading maps or applying textures.

Nothing done with the setup. Just installed Radiant and opened it.

Now.. this is a topic about the good and bad things about the new Radaint, not about specific problems you're having with it.

Here's my Tip and I am finding my way around the Textures ok...

Textures>Usage: keep to All
Textures>Locale: Locations; Normandy; (Pointe) Du Hoc; etc. Use this to locate the textures by missions from SP and MP maps we all know and love.
*N.B*: Caulk is under the Tools section
Textures>Surface Type: This is the filter I use. If I wan a brick wall, I'll select the External Wall setting and look at the filtered textures.

This is how I am using it and its working. Nice ands Simple... Hope this helps some people...
