What i do and it never fails is find the file i want to skin so for you, You would open the models.pk3 (with winzip) in sof2/base folder. Find flagblue and flagred.jpg extract them to your desktop you'll now have on your desktop....

models/flags/flagred.jpg flagblue.jpg

Once you've edit them select the models folder and choose 'send to compressed zipped folder' rename your file to something fancy then all you do is change the .zip to .pk3

Quote:

Go to start > control panel > folder options > view find where it says hide extentions for known file types and uncheck the box and click apply. Any zip files will now instead of being called blahblah with the extention hidden be called blahblah.zip. Change the .zip to .pk3 and click yes when the rename box pops up, Simple as that.

place in the base/mp folder and away you go.

If your joining a "PURE" server, it will not load your pk3...

However if that is not the case, PK3's load in ascending order 0,1,2,X,Y,Z... name your pk3 so it loads last... Something like zzz_flag.pk3...
